How it started

After much thought I left my job at an independent pharmacy after several years to pursue a career as a Paramedic.  However, I wanted to continue the training programs I had worked so hard to develop.  That is where the idea to start this company came from.

The real struggle seemed to be coming up with a name for the company.  I did some research and found all sorts of expert opinions on how to come up with a name that would create the "proper" image.  I realized after reading through the thesaurus that the words meant nothing to me.  I decided I wanted to honor my father who died in 2004 of heart disease.  Amongst the things he taught me was the K.I.S.S. philosophy. 

That philosophy is key to the way I develop and deliver the training, classes, or in-services I offer.  Sitting in a class does no good if you walk away not having learned anything.  I believe learning should be fun, simple, and effective.
